Operational Technology (OT) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for OT systems and cyber security management across the full lifecycle
• Support configuration control and system management including tools, data, and repositories
• Ensure OT security, regulatory compliance, and industrial safety are embedded in all activities
• Act as a point of contact for site OT security matters and Blue Team cyber security activities
• Maintain OT documentation including plant network diagrams, asset registers, and security operating procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement and team development

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical discipline, or equivalent military experience
• Understanding of the lifecycle of OT / I&C systems
• Knowledge of configuration control and security considerations
• Eligible for or holding UK security clearance (BPSS)
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) systems
• Experience with industrial control / I&C systems
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST Cyber Security Framework, or IEC 61508
• Experience in configuration management or cyber security
• Understanding of system reliability, fault tolerance, and through-life asset management
