Operational Technology (OT) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for OT systems and cyber security management across the full lifecycle
• Support configuration control and system management, including tools, data, and repositories
• Ensure OT security, regulatory compliance, and industrial safety are embedded in all activities
• Act as a point of contact for site OT security matters, supporting Blue Team activities
• Maintain and support key OT documentation, including plant network diagrams, asset registers, and security operating procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback and supporting team development

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical discipline (or equivalent military experience)
• Understanding of the lifecycle of OT / I&C systems, including configuration control and in-service management
• Eligible for (or holding) UK security clearance
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) systems or industrial control/I&C systems
• Knowledge of configuration management, cyber security, or system reliability
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST Cyber Security Framework, or IEC 61508
• Experience with through-life asset management and obsolescence
