About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide passenger flow, queue management, and control within Toronto Pearson International Airport terminals
- Validate passenger eligibility and travel documentation for controlled and restricted areas
- Assist passengers with automated systems, kiosks, and navigating the terminal
- Monitor assigned zones to ensure efficient passenger movement and prevent backflow
- Establish working relationships with other terminal service providers
- Prepare incident and occurrence reports regarding customer concerns or operational issues
- Manage and maintain stanchions to regulate queue lines and flow
- Utilize Smartsheet and handheld devices to report passenger data and wait times
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education
- Fluency in English and French (written and verbal)
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and walk long distances
- Physical ability to lift and relocate stanchions
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Possession of or ability to apply for a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Clear criminal record
