Operational Readiness and Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness planning across key project milestones to ensure smooth transitions from construction to business as usual
• Work closely with delivery and operations teams to manage systems integration, documentation, training, and readiness reporting
• Identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle to create a seamless pathway to operational performance
• Coordinate between project execution and long-term operational teams to ensure assets are set up for success

Requirements

• Relevant technical qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in operations, maintenance, production, or a similar technical environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across diverse teams
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
• A genuine and strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in EPC or design-build environments
• Knowledge of asset management best practices
• Familiarity with the New Zealand Electricity Market and Energy Safety Rules
