Operational Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational procurement team to ensure all components are sourced and delivered in a timely manner, aligned with production schedules and demand.
• Collaborate with internal groups to address challenges, update material schedules, and ensure MRP systems accurately reflect forecasts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams locally and globally to drive innovation and enhance efficiency in supply chain operations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to guarantee on-time deliveries that meet customer requirements.
• Foster professional and consistent supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
• Design and implement innovative processes for material planning and procurement to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of experience handling SCM teams.
• 3-5 years of experience in an engineering or supply chain environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of operational buying principles, manufacturing processes, and materials management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
• Experience in the Energy Products industry (knowledge of circuit breaker products is a plus).
