Operational Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the proper execution of preventive, corrective, autonomous, and planned maintenance for machinery and equipment.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time, meeting quality and cost objectives to avoid unplanned downtime.
• Validate and participate in weekend maintenance programs and scheduled shutdowns to improve equipment availability.
• Perform root cause analysis on maintenance orders to implement necessary actions and prevent failure recurrence.
• Manage the identification and procurement of necessary spare parts to maintain continuous equipment operation.
• Oversee model changes and ensure successful production line startups.
• Monitor operational indicators, including maintenance order completion rates and downtime metrics.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in design and evaluation, preferably within the home appliance (Linea Blanca) industry.
• Proficiency in English (minimum 80%).
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, safety, hygiene, and ecology protocols.
