About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide daily HR support to employees and managers on operational matters
- Ensure all HR processes are compliant with Finnish laws and applicable collective agreements/CBA
- Follow up on sick leave and absence in accordance with legal and company requirements
- Handle employee relations cases in a professional and confidential manner
- Maintain accurate HR records and data in relevant systems
- Support recruitment processes, onboarding, and offboarding
- Assist with employment contracts, salary adjustments, and absence management
- Collaborate closely with safety representatives and the Shop steward
- Ensure policies, procedures, and guidelines are implemented and followed throughout the organization
- Contribute to a positive work environment through active communication and presence
Requirements
- Degree in HR, labor law, or equivalent experience
- Solid knowledge of Finnish labor law and legislation and applicable CBA
- Experience in operational HR work, preferably in a company with a collective agreement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a structured manner
