Operational Field Engineer T1

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and service requests, resolving standard issues and escalating when needed
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware/software including desktops, servers, network equipment, and telephony
• Assist with onboarding tasks such as provisioning IT hardware, software, and access for new employees
• Maintain asset records for IT hardware/software in line with lifecycle and security standards
• Follow Change and compliance business processes
• Contribute to project planning and execution under guidance
• Monitor system performance and assist with routine troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation including support logs and configuration records
• Provide limited support for OT systems if required

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 2 years of experience in IT support or technical service roles
• Exposure to field environments or remote site support
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Server environments, and networking basics (IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel 40–50% across the US and Canada
