Operational Excellence Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Operational Excellence projects across ASEAN & Taiwan to drive measurable KPI improvements in OTIF, inventory turns, and cost-to-serve.
• Manage the full continuous improvement project lifecycle using DMAIC/PDCA methodologies, including root-cause analysis and solution scaling.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, VSM workshops, and the deployment of standard work across multiple operating sites.
• Drive warehouse operational excellence through WMS utilization, Lean layout optimization, and productivity improvements.
• Build Power BI dashboards and promote the adoption of digital and AI tools for enhanced operational visibility.
• Coach site leaders and frontline teams in Lean problem-solving, Gemba routines, and SOP deployment.
• Partner with IT to support system enhancements (WMS/TMS/ERP) and automation enablement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement within a supply chain environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Black Belt is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP, WMS, or other ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced capability in Excel and Power BI.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage for regional stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive aftermarket, industrial distribution, or FMCG sectors.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with automation technologies, network modeling, or scripting languages such as SQL or Python.
