Operational Excellence Specialist

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and execute plant standardization of the management system and work with employees at all levels to track implementation.
• Lead and facilitate improvement teams, workshop teams, and individual improvement projects aligned with plant priorities.
• Participate as a problem-solving resource and group facilitator for daily plant improvement activities.
• Conduct process analysis and performance reporting to support internal and external client needs.
• Apply Lean tools and techniques including DMAIC, PDCA, root cause analysis, FMEA, and Kaizen.
• Support the development, documentation, and sustainment of standardized work in collaboration with training resources.
• Present, educate, and train diverse audiences to facilitate the adoption of best practices and eliminate waste.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, or equivalent work-related experience.
• Experience in process improvement or project management.
• Strong written and oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to build teams and influence others without formal authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
