About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives to deliver sustainable financial savings.
- Optimize solid-dose bottle and blister packaging operations, focusing on OEE, throughput, and waste reduction.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as Lean, TPS, and root cause analysis to manufacturing losses.
- Support the development of the site Long Range Plan (LRP) and manage OEE metric governance.
- Coach and mentor team members on OPEX methodologies and continuous improvement mindsets.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and ensure improvements are sustained through standard work and visual management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant and scalable improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences).
- 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in solid-dose pharmaceutical packaging (bottle filling and blister operations).
- Strong knowledge of cGMP regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office (Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a dedicated Lean or Operational Excellence role.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience in high-speed consumer packaging environments (food or beverage).
