Operational Excellence Manager

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage OBE Operational Excellence system to support site teams in achieving zero harm, improving quality, and reducing waste
• Develop site OpEx strategy, initiatives, activities, coaching, and training material
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with Front Line Leaders to execute production projects
• Oversee and develop Quality initiatives and metrics by working with operations to drive best practices

Requirements

• Practical experience leading kaizen events (teaching, coaching, and implementing operational excellence tools)
• High degree of technical aptitude with knowledge of manufacturing processes and logistics flows
• Experience developing and implementing quality systems (PFMEA, control plans, standardized work, layered audits)
• Strong understanding of Lean Tools including 6S, Kanban, Ishikawa, A3, 5-Why, MTTR, MTBF, Poka-yoke, JIT, and Value-stream mapping
• Ability to influence and create buy-in from teams through collaboration
