Operational Excellence Manager

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the business to identify process needs and pain points
• Coordinate the intake, analysis, prioritization, planning, resourcing, and internal/external communication of POR initiatives
• Employ observation, interviewing, and coaching with process stakeholders to document current and future state processes
• Determine measures for analyzing and improving process performance and lead stakeholders through improvement cycles
• Create process maps, workflows, relationship maps, and process diagrams
• Serve as a mentor to process owners and advise on work procedures
• Scope, lead, and manage process improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives
• Identify potential impacts of process changes and develop change management plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Project Management preferred
• 10+ years of industry experience
• Experience in an AEC, Construction, or Design Firm
• Experience in process definition, procedure writing, and/or process improvement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
• Proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, or Value Stream Mapping
• Proficiency with MS Visio or similar process mapping software
• Proficiency with Agile, Waterfall, or Critical Path Method
• Proficiency with MS Project or similar project management software
