Operational Excellence Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and lead Yellow and Green Belt projects to improve operational KPIs such as Error Rate and Minutes per Box
• Identify improvement opportunities across production processes and implement sustainable solutions with cross-functional teams
• Analyze operational data using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, Tableau, or SQL to drive actionable business decisions
• Utilize low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., PowerApps, AppSheet) to create tools for the shop floor
• Maintain an active presence on the shop floor to engage with teams and drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Document process improvements, best practices, and project outcomes in a structured manner
• Provide training and support on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or high-volume fulfillment environment
• Proven experience leading or contributing to operational excellence projects
• Strong practical experience in Lean Methodology and its associated tools
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, Tableau, or SQL
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and communication skills
• Fluent in German or English, with at least a B2 level in the other language
