Operational Excellence Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, execution, and sustainability of the Operational Excellence (OE) program at the site level.
• Own the site OE roadmap and improvement portfolio, leading cross-functional initiatives to improve productivity, quality, safety, cost, and delivery.
• Build OE capability and culture through coaching, mentoring, and change leadership.
• Develop and govern a local network of OE champions.
• Ensure disciplined performance tracking, benefits transparency, and compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership and serve as the primary interface to the Global OE organization.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (Master/PhD/MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, process improvement, or manufacturing management.
• Experience in CDMO/CMO, chemical, or pharmaceutical environments is highly preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
• Proven track record of leading large-scale OE transformation initiatives with measurable impact.
• Fluency in both English (C1) and German (C1) is mandatory.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
