Operational Due Diligence Associate Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing operational due diligence reviews of asset managers across various asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, and real estate
• Produce high-quality ODD reports featuring clear and concise professional opinions
• Research middle and back office functions of various investment managers
• Review fund documentation, including audited financial reports, internal controls, and legal documents
• Evaluate investment managers' trading systems and pricing procedures to identify operational risks
• Collaborate with client consulting teams to respond to queries and support advisory projects

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience in financial services (ODD experience is advantageous)
• Strong understanding of operational processes and associated risks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to formulate documented theses
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and delivering quality results on time
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to execute tasks with accuracy

Benefits

• Competitive base salary range of $65,000 - $110,000 CAD per year
