Operational Controller, International

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the monthly close process across international entities to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality reporting.
• Translate financial close results into actionable insights for senior leadership, connecting outcomes to business performance.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors across key international jurisdictions, such as the Philippines and Colombia.
• Identify and resolve accounting and process-related issues across global operations to drive visibility and efficiency.
• Champion the standardization of systems, tools, and processes across global entities while maintaining local compliance.
• Support the financial integration and setup of new international entities in collaboration with Legal, Tax, and Operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10–15+ years of experience in accounting, controllership, or financial operations.
• Extensive experience with international exposure and multi-entity organizations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; experience with IFRS is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading complex close processes and managing external audit relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial data to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification is strongly preferred.
