About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to identify, quantify, and drive industrial risk mitigation for legacy commercial engine programs
- Drive alignment between production requirements and aftermarket needs
- Serve as the customer interface for reporting industrial plans and part recovery
- Partner with the Program office to achieve industrial milestones and support fleet/shop visit needs
- Resolve part shortages by working across partners and internal teams
- Develop holistic part supply solutions, including used serviceable parts and 3rd party material providers
- Maintain robust processes to communicate part delivery commits and develop weekly risk heat maps
- Interface with executives regarding issue mitigation and collaborate with Aftermarket on five-year spare part forecasts
- Implement systemic approaches to evaluate and preclude future part shortages
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or a related field, OR a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in program management
- Proven experience leading and managing technical teams
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility at all organizational levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in a STEM field
- Technical experience in engineering change management and implementation
- Experience using Six-Sigma, Lean manufacturing tools, or process control
- Proficiency with SAP
