About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to identify, quantify, and drive industrial risk mitigation for legacy commercial engine programs
  • Drive alignment between production requirements and aftermarket needs
  • Serve as the customer interface for reporting industrial plans and part recovery
  • Partner with the Program office to achieve industrial milestones and support fleet/shop visit needs
  • Resolve part shortages by working across partners and internal teams
  • Develop holistic part supply solutions, including used serviceable parts and 3rd party material providers
  • Maintain robust processes to communicate part delivery commits and develop weekly risk heat maps
  • Interface with executives regarding issue mitigation and collaborate with Aftermarket on five-year spare part forecasts
  • Implement systemic approaches to evaluate and preclude future part shortages

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or a related field, OR a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in program management
  • Proven experience leading and managing technical teams
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in a STEM field
  • Technical experience in engineering change management and implementation
  • Experience using Six-Sigma, Lean manufacturing tools, or process control
  • Proficiency with SAP
