Operational Buyer

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and supplier relationships for Facility Management and energy spend (below 100KEUR) in the East China region.
• Drive regional strategies to achieve budget, cost reduction, and competitive sourcing targets for assigned commodities.
• Evaluate quotations and benchmark best practices to determine the most cost-effective sources.
• Recommend cost-saving proposals, including make-versus-buy analyses and alternate sourcing options.
• Manage the supply base through the creation and renewal of contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
• Conduct supplier assessments for potential new vendors and monitor existing supplier performance.
• Maintain all documentation for RFQs, purchase orders, and cost reduction reporting in accordance with ZF policies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Purchasing, Operations, or Project Management.
• Strong familiarity with purchasing processes and commercial contract handling.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
• Proficient data analysis skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and solve problems efficiently.
• Strong decision-making, management, and teamwork skills.
