Operation Manager, Mineral

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations, including budget development, resource planning, and compliance with environmental and safety guidelines.
• Drive continuous plant productivity improvements through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Oversee quality management by coordinating quality promoters and monitoring compliance with defined processes for incoming goods and production.
• Manage New Product Development (NPD) projects, ensuring they meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Support the development of high-performance teams through recruitment, leadership, and continuous training for shift leaders.
• Monitor and report on key quality figures, including overproduction, waste, rework, and claims.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Operations Management with P&L responsibility in a plant environment.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain technology tools.
• Excellent leadership and change management skills with a track record of building manufacturing teams.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese (written and oral).
