Operation Excellence and Industrial Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of business process improvements and lean manufacturing principles to drive operational excellence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Apply advanced industrial engineering methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement.
• Use statistical analysis tools to analyze production data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Design and optimize production layouts and material flow paths to minimize production time and complexity.
• Conduct time studies, work measurement, and workload analysis to establish production standards and capacity planning.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including flow charts, standard work instructions, and training materials.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to recommend and implement strategic changes.
• Conduct value stream mapping and process mapping to design future state processes.
• Support the implementation of an enterprise-wide Lean Six Sigma program.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in industrial engineering or operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in value stream mapping and process mapping.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Expertise in production layout optimization and material flow design.
• Proven ability to conduct time studies and workload analysis.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate change management and gain stakeholder buy-in.
