Operation Excellence and Industrial Engineering Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of business process improvements and lean manufacturing methodologies to drive operational excellence.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Apply advanced industrial engineering problem-solving methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Use statistical analysis tools to analyze production data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Design and optimize production layouts and material flow paths to minimize production time and complexity.
• Conduct time studies, work measurement, and workload analysis to establish production standards and capacity planning.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including flow charts, standard work instructions, and training materials.
• Develop project plans, manage execution, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide hands-on training and coaching to employees on new processes and tools.
• Conduct value stream mapping and process mapping to design future-state processes.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to recommend strategic changes.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in operational excellence or industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Lean Six Sigma programs.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques.
• Expertise in value stream mapping and process mapping.
• Experience conducting time studies and workload analysis.
• Proven project management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to facilitate change management.
