Operation and Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of PHGs 250 SMR units, H2 compressors, and backup systems at the Ain Sokhna facility
• Ensure compliance with all relevant EH&S regulations and implement Air Products safety work processes and emergency preparedness
• Support all aspects of H2 plant operations, including troubleshooting process problems and participating in plant projects
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance as designated by the SAP PM system to ensure optimum performance and reliability
• Maintain accurate plant logbooks, including operating data, unusual events, and work performed
• Act as part of the on-call team to ensure site security, safety, and remote response to critical alarms
• Liaise with customers and site personnel to meet quality requirements and communicate plant conditions
• Provide technical and operational assistance during plant shutdowns and maintenance activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the gas, petrochemical, or a related industry
• Fluent oral and written English communication skills
• Strong coordination and troubleshooting abilities
