Operating Technician Shipping and Receiving

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial material handling equipment including forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, and order pickers in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished goods
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality assurance
• Perform spill cleanup and follow rework procedures
• Maintain equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure production orders are completed on time
• Keep tools, equipment, and the work environment clean and organized daily
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility
• Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Experience monitoring machinery indicators, gauges, or dials
• Experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods
• Experience operating packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, or labelers
