Operating Technician Paint Maker

Responsibilities

• Operate paint-making control systems and manufacturing equipment including high-speed dispersers, pumps, and valves
• Prebatch materials and inspect tickets to ensure accuracy
• Follow batch slip instructions and monitor processes to obtain proper grind or mix
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain production records, equipment logs, and report any breakdowns in a timely manner
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and drum handling tools
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment daily

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility
• Experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators
• Experience operating industrial machinery or mixing/blending raw materials in a batch process
• Experience using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or drum dollies
• Experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and finished goods
