Operating Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sophisticated production equipment to ensure smooth and safe manufacturing processes
• Maintain high-quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform troubleshooting on extruders and associated machinery in an industrial environment
• Execute basic maintenance tasks and other duties as directed by supervision
• Accurately document work and maintain production records

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a relevant technical field (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Electronics Technician)
• Experience operating and troubleshooting an extruder and associated machinery
• Flexibility to work any shift, including nights and weekends (training on 1st shift, moving to 2nd or 3rd shift)
• Ability to work in a clean-shaven manner and wear a respirator or dust mask at all times
• Basic IT skills and ability to learn company-specific software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality control

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with an extruder or injection molding machine
