Operating Technician

Responsibilities

• Control and operate chemical processes or machine systems using panel boards, control boards, or semi-automatic equipment.
• Perform and report on operational activities according to the Operations Dashboard (OPD) Tasks List.
• Confer with technical and supervisory personnel to resolve issues affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality.
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solutions for troubleshooting.
• Follow all safety procedures, work orders, and instructions strictly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and subordinates within a shift-based environment.

Requirements

• High Vocational Technical College degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
• Educational background in Petrochemical, Production Technique, or a relevant field.
• New graduates with internship experience in the petrochemical or chemical industry are encouraged to apply.
• Native Thai speaker with moderate English communication skills (writing and reading).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process operation and control, including troubleshooting process deviations.
• Strong knowledge of plant safety procedures, hazard identification, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to observe, collect, and interpret complex operational data.
• Proactive approach to continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
