Operating Room Assistant

Responsibilities

• Preparation and follow-up of patients for surgery
• Assistance during surgery (instrumentation)
• Monitoring and nursing care of patients before and after operations
• Operation and monitoring of medical-technical devices
• Surgical documentation
• Application and implementation of hygienic and aseptic regulations
• Float/relief duties

Requirements

• Completed training as an Operating Room Assistant (OTA), Nurse with surgical specialization, or Medical Assistant
• Sound professional experience in the operating room
• High level of responsibility, flexibility, and commitment
• Strong social competence and ability to work in a team
• Empathy in dealing with patients
• Willingness to participate in on-call/standby services
