About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document technical functions related to testing, quality control, and assembly of mechanical and electromechanical equipment for the USP water system.
  • Design and implement maintenance protocols to optimize the performance and lifespan of the USP water system.
  • Conduct proactive diagnostics and electrical/mechanical measurements using advanced monitoring tools to prevent system failures.
  • Control area chemicals and maintain accurate records using digital tools.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate advanced water treatment technologies and ensure environmental compliance.
  • Assist engineering teams in developing and implementing new processes and system improvements.
  • Document and analyze system performance data to recommend energy efficiency and continuous improvement solutions.
  • Provide training to junior technicians on best practices, safety, and quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • Higher Technical degree in Chemistry, Physics, Electromechanics, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of practical technical experience in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, or water treatment systems.
  • Solid knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and basic programming for equipment diagnostics and testing.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and production staff.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and quality assurance protocols within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in using digital diagnostic tools and software for system monitoring and predictive maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate maintenance processes and implement sustainable practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to document complex technical tests and quality control procedures.
