Operario de Mantenimiento Mecánico

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive mechanical maintenance on process equipment to ensure operational availability.
• Perform routine mechanical inspections and report deviations, failures, or risks to prevent unscheduled downtime.
• Carry out adjustment, lubrication, assembly, disassembly, repair, and replacement of mechanical components.
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental (EHS) procedures and standards.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of tools and the work area to ensure a safe environment.
• Participate in development programs, emergency brigades, and other organizational safety events.

Requirements

• Technical high school diploma or TSU in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in similar roles, preferably in cement, mining, or heavy transformation industries.
• Technical knowledge of industrial mechanical maintenance, including pumps, reducers, and lubrication systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Basic welding skills.
• Physical capacity to work in large-scale industrial facilities and perform field work.
• Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends.
