About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain PTAR (Wastewater Treatment Plant) systems to optimize efficiency and ensure environmental compliance.
- Perform technical functions including the assembly, inspection, calibration, and maintenance of mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
- Conduct electrical, mechanical, and electronic measurements using specialized instruments such as oscilloscopes and analyzers.
- Implement troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve operational anomalies quickly.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to test and integrate new technologies and improve processes.
- Document all technical activities, quality control tests, and performance analyses.
- Support facility maintenance tasks, including pipe repair, painting, and general electrical/mechanical support.
- Manage rotating shifts and maintain availability as required by operational needs.
Requirements
- Higher Technical degree in mechanics, electromechanics, electricity, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of practical experience working with mechanical or electromechanical equipment.
- Proficiency with electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and basic software programming applicable to technical operations.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
