Operador de COP

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift activities including equipment inspections, safety, order, cleanliness, and special operations.
• Coordinate the resolution of breakdowns or incidents and prepare reports on operating conditions, production, and inventories.
• Analyze main equipment parameters via the control panel (COP) and correlate them with field conditions to ensure stable and safe operation.
• Manage effective shift handovers, communicating equipment conditions (kilns, mills, etc.) and product quality.
• Validate safe equipment startup conditions and maintain stable operations without exceeding capacity.
• Ensure processes minimize environmental impacts and maintain discipline within the control room and work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma (Bachillerato) or completed Technical Degree.
• Proven experience in cement operations and plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of the cement manufacturing process (theoretical or practical).
• Proficiency in process control and personnel administration.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Process Book, and PIWEB.
• Ability to analyze trends and the relationship between variables.
