Opening Day Collection Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage new Opening Day Collection projects and special projects, including account setup and order entry/reporting.
• Serve as the primary project manager, collaborating with sales, technical services, collection development, and operations to develop project plans and timelines.
• Lead customer meetings to establish project milestones and set deadlines for both internal departments and external customers.
• Act as the main point of contact between the customer and Library Services (ILS) to coordinate cross-departmental efforts through project delivery.
• Identify process improvement and service up-sale opportunities to increase workflow efficiency.
• Establish and report on project status in regular meetings with internal stakeholders and management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Library Science.
• 3 years of experience in an operational or analytical role.
• 3 years of experience leading process improvement, change management, integration projects, or project management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Project Management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
