About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement governance frameworks for Open Source Software (OSS)
  • Establish OSS strategy and management systems meeting ISO/IEC 5230 certification requirements
  • Design policies and workflows for OSS usage and distribution
  • Manage, operate, and automate SCA tools to minimize legal and quality risks
  • Plan and lead company-wide OSS education programs and compliance monitoring
  • Execute OSS audit processes and establish reporting systems
  • Collaborate with external communities and technical partners to resolve disputes

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using SCA tools
  • Experience and understanding of Package Managers
  • Ability to automate workflows using scripting languages
  • Understanding of Cloud and DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipeline integration
  • Knowledge of open source software and licensing
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with developers
  • Ability to design and execute enterprise-wide OSS governance roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience operating OSS compliance programs
  • Experience with ISO/IEC 5230 (OpenChain) certification or similar projects
  • Experience managing open source projects in the automotive or electronics domain
