Open Rank Faculty - Sleep Medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time patient care (minimum 40 hours per week) at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System
• Manage six half-day adult sleep medicine clinics and interpret associated sleep studies
• Serve a medically underserved and diverse patient population
• Teach, train, and advise medical students, residents, and fellows in Internal Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Pulmonary & Critical Care
• Conduct medical science or medical education research with mentorship
• Assist with curriculum development and perform university administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Medical degree or foreign equivalent
• Three years of Internal Medicine residency training
• One year of Sleep fellowship training completed in the United States
• Valid Illinois medical license or eligibility for an Illinois medical license

Preferred Qualifications

• Pulmonary & Critical Care fellowship training
