About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver graduate-level courses in pharmacology and psychopharmacology using didactic and interactive learning methods
  • Engage students through talks and interactive experiences while assessing student performance
  • Participate in scholarly activities focused on the effectiveness of the MS-MHP curriculum and instructional methods
  • Serve on college and university committees to support institutional goals
  • Maintain active participation in state and national professional organizations

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate
  • Postdoctoral experience or previous experience in education/training related to Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Expertise in Psychopharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Medicinal Chemistry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in curriculum and course development and implementation
  • Interest in educational innovation and contemporary teaching approaches
  • A track record of scholarship and the ability to mentor students, fellows, and faculty
  • Ability to work collaboratively with administrators, faculty, staff, and students
  • Commitment to fostering a humanistic culture and supporting student success
