Open end Fund Accounting/Hedge Fund Accounting, Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain shadow books and records for open-end funds, separately managed accounts, and Luxembourg SICAVs
• Oversee daily NAV, cash, and position reconciliation processes
• Supervise and provide on-the-job training for junior team members
• Review management fees, journal entries, and monthly closing accruals
• Prepare and review financial statements and quarterly corporate reporting
• Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, and fund administrators
• Assist with complex corporate actions, expense analysis, and capital activity recording
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Support fund-related efficiency and automation projects

Requirements

• 8-12 years of relevant accounting or audit experience, preferably within Big Four or investment management
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
• Excellent understanding of investment company accounting rules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex problems

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience with Geneva or Geneva World Investor accounting systems
• Experience with data analytical tools such as PowerBI or Alteryx
