OOW Engineering Watch DP

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe watch keeping, control, and maintenance of engine room mechanical and propulsion equipment
• Maintain routine documentation as required by the Company
• Ensure safe and efficient operations of engine room machinery during duty watches
• Implement the Asset Management Operative System (AMOS) to survey, test, and maintain all ship machinery and equipment
• Carry out analysis tasks for cooling water, sanitary water, diesel oil, and equipment oil
• Participate in bunkering, offloading of fuel/oil, and vessel refueling
• Monitor and prevent environmental pollution in accordance with MARPOL
• Maintain the vessel in accordance with class and statutory legislation
• Report any unsafe acts, hazardous situations, or incidents immediately to the 2nd Engineer DP or Chief Engineer DP

Requirements

• STCW III/1 Certificate of Competency (CoC) and required endorsements
• Minimum 3 years of experience onboard construction vessels with Dynamic Positioning (DP)
• Previous Saudi Aramco acceptance as Third Engineer for Marine Projects
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of all training and certifications as described in the Company Training Matrix
• Dynamic Position (DP) training as per Company Procedure
• Experience with K-Chief 700 and K-Thrust 700 systems
• OPITO certifications (H2S awareness, Basic offshore safety & emergency training)
