Onsite Instructor, Prelicensure Clinical

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor nursing students during experiential clinical coursework in an onsite/remote environment
• Serve as a professional role model in communication, ethical comportment, and problem-solving
• Provide subject matter expertise and specialized instruction on challenging clinical tasks
• Foster student learning through innovative teaching practices and proactive outreach
• Collaborate with clinical coaches and preceptors to discuss student progress and concerns
• Conduct both in-person and remote student evaluations and approve clinical time
• Maintain compliance with relevant state regulations and university policies

Requirements

• MSN degree with verified nursing education
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the designated state
• Minimum of two years of relevant professional nursing experience
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in nursing content or practice areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate or terminal degree in a specific nursing content area
• Prior experience in clinical teaching or nursing education
• Experience working with distance education and distance learning students
