Onsite Instructor, Prelicensure Clinical

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to nursing students during experiential clinical coursework
• Provide specialized instruction and oversight within clinical placement settings
• Foster student learning through innovative teaching practices and professional role modeling
• Conduct both in-person and remote student evaluations and provide final approval for clinical time
• Communicate student progress and concerns to assigned coaches and preceptors
• Utilize technology-based teaching and communication platforms to support competency development
• Maintain compliance with relevant state regulations and university policies

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing (Education must be verified)
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience
• Unencumbered RN license
• Active, unencumbered license in the designated state
• Ability to work onsite in the Dallas/Fort Worth region (3 days/week, 24 hours/week)

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate or terminal degree in a specific content area
• Prior experience in clinical teaching or nursing education
• Experience with distance education and supporting distance learning students
