About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries regarding reverse vending machines via phone and ticket system
- Perform remote troubleshooting, diagnosis, and error correction on TOMRA equipment
- Dispatch field technicians when issues cannot be resolved online
- Carry out administrative tasks including creating service orders, closing work orders, spare parts management, and internal logistics
- Connect customer branches to the TOMRA network
- Provide IT support for service managers, field technicians, and technical product experts
- Work in a two-shift hotline schedule including recurring Saturday shifts (with a compensatory weekday off)
Requirements
- Technical education (apprenticeship, HTL, or comparable) with focus on electrical engineering, mechanics, IT, or equivalent professional experience
- IT affinity and confidence in working with internal LAN networks
- Strong communication skills, politeness, and enjoyment of customer contact by phone
- Experience with a ticket system or ERP system
- High accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail
- Willingness to speak English with international colleagues; online support is conducted in German
