Online Adjunct Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach general education courses to the adult student population within the Morehouse Online program.
• Communicate subject matter clearly and effectively within assigned academic disciplines.
• Participate in faculty orientation sessions and training focused on online course delivery and adult learner needs.
• Perform additional duties as outlined within the teaching agreement.

Requirements

• Master's degree in an applied concentration or a related field.
• Extensive professional work experience in areas that allow for teaching specific courses.
• Proficiency in Blackboard and Moodle Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong communication acumen, including written, oral, and listening skills.
• Knowledge of pedagogical strategies and methods of student assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience teaching in an online environment.
