Oncology Specialist Nurse

Responsibilities

• Professional nursing care and support for oncology patients, primarily in gynecology
• Implementation, monitoring, and documentation of oncological therapies
• Symptom management and support with therapy side effects
• Psychosocial support for patients and relatives
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, therapists, and other professional groups
• Ensuring and developing nursing quality and compliance with standards for the gynecological cancer center

Requirements

• Completed training as a nursing specialist (Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege)
• Completed or ongoing further training as an oncology specialist nurse
• Desirable professional experience in the oncology field
• Empathy, sense of responsibility, and high social competence
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
