Oncology Overlay Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Promote oncology therapeutics to key stakeholders and educate customers on complex clinical and diagnostic information
• Convey clinical, diagnostic, and access information to ensure patients benefit from available therapies
• Partner with cross-functional peers and account teams in a collaborative overlay environment
• Define patient unmet needs through probing and align on compliant solutions
• Develop and execute account plans, including pre- and post-call planning and business analysis
• Utilize multiple engagement channels, including face-to-face, phone, and virtual platforms, to build relationships with providers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited school
• Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in pharma/biotech specialty sales or medical devices
• Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and communicating compelling clinical messages
• Ability to travel overnight up to 50% within the continental US
• Valid, clean driver’s license issued in the United States
• Must reside within the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Oncology sales
• Experience working with teaching institutions, major hospitals, or large oncology clinics
• Knowledge of the reimbursement and fulfillment pathway for specialty products
