Oncology Nurse Navigator

Responsibilities

• Manage a full, active caseload of members with cancer diagnoses, providing individualized navigation, education, and clinical support
• Conduct comprehensive oncology intake assessments to establish member needs, goals, and care priorities
• Educate members and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and clinical pathways using NCCN and ONCC-aligned guidance
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating communication between members, treating providers, and the broader team
• Identify and address psychosocial, financial, and logistical barriers to care
• Complete accurate, timely documentation within the care management platform
• Participate in call auditing and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Active RN license in a compact state with ability to be licensed in all 50 states
• Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience
• Active ONCC certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with NCCN guidelines and ClinicalTrials.gov
• Must be based in the Dallas, TX area for hybrid work

• Ability to communicate with empathy and cultural competence
• Experience working in fast-paced, technology-enabled environments
