Onboarding Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead HR logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, material preparation, and communication
• Ensure new hires in their first 90 days are engaged and trained
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps
• Collaborate with leadership to design and implement training programs
• Review and assess the effectiveness of current training materials
• Support on-the-floor training, coaching, and mentorship for staff
• Collect and analyze feedback from training participants
• Communicate policy updates and procedural changes
• Maintain accurate records of training participation and competencies
• Support compliance with DHHS standards and audits
• Maintain flexible schedule including second-shift and weekends

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in learning and development, training, or employee engagement
• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including second shift and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential or therapeutic settings
• CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention Institute certification
