8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both non-autonomous and future autonomous rideshare fleets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the driver onboarding center to ensure a smooth and professional experience
• Manage driver onboarding execution, including materials, company policies, and shift preparation
• Handle system setup, hiring drivers into internal systems, and managing credentials and documentation
• Track onboarding funnel metrics, driver readiness, and completion rates to identify bottlenecks
• Schedule and coordinate driver test drives to ensure safety and operational standards
• Monitor and support driver performance during their initial weeks through coaching and feedback
• Coordinate onboarding schedules, training sessions, and logistics to ensure optimal throughput
• Ensure all processes adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new drivers to resolve onboarding issues
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in startups, operations, logistics, HR, or onboarding
• Strong proficiency with spreadsheets (formulas, filtering, data validation, reporting)
• Ability to analyze operational metrics and use data to drive decisions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong process management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to work early morning or late night hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ridesharing platforms like Uber or Lyft
• Experience in training, onboarding, or people operations
