Onboarding Coordinator

8Fleet is a rapidly growing technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both non-autonomous and future autonomous rideshare fleets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the driver onboarding center
• Manage driver onboarding execution, including materials and policy understanding
• Hire drivers into internal systems and manage credentials and documentation
• Track onboarding funnel metrics, driver readiness, and completion rates
• Schedule and coordinate driver test drives to ensure safety standards
• Monitor and support driver performance during their initial weeks
• Coordinate onboarding schedules, test drives, and training sessions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new driver inquiries
• Identify and implement process improvements for onboarding workflows

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in startups, operations, logistics, HR, or onboarding
• Strong proficiency with spreadsheets (formulas, filtering, data validation)
• Ability to analyze operational metrics and data
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching abilities
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to work early morning or late night hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ridesharing platforms like Uber or Lyft
• Experience in training, onboarding, or people operations
