Onboarding Consultant I

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager and implementation specialist for Toast Payroll customers during the onboarding phase.
• Partner with restaurant owners to build customized onboarding plans that ensure high-quality product adoption and efficient daily operations.
• Guide customers through initial setup steps, including configuring client databases and migrating data from previous providers.
• Create and lead comprehensive training plans to teach customers how to leverage Toast products within their specific workflows.
• Manage a large book of business, overseeing 60+ simultaneous onboarding projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Onboarding to ensure smooth customer transitions.
• Provide post-live guidance, troubleshooting, and follow-up training as needed.
• Assist in the translation of customer-facing resources from English to Spanish.

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (both verbal and written) is required.
• 3+ years of experience in roles focused on customer satisfaction and business operations.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong project management, organizational, and influencing skills.
• A track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Payroll Service Providers.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
• Background in the tech industry or working for a SaaS company.
• Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Previous experience in training, teaching, or professional development.
