Onboard Assistant Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage the Onboard Assistant team, fostering team spirit and resolving daily challenges
• Develop manuals, scripts, presentations, and support materials for tours and excursions
• Participate in team selection and support the training and integration of new employees
• Manage team schedules and ensure adequate rest periods
• Act as a liaison between the Ship-Hotel Operations Assistant and the Onboard Assistants and Reception team
• Coordinate logistics for excursions, visits, meals, and travel with suppliers and partners
• Serve as a guide-interpreter presenting Portuguese culture, gastronomy, history, and traditions
• Plan and lead cultural and recreational activities, including thematic presentations and musical moments
• Promote sales of products available in the ship-hotel shops
• Maintain high service standards aligned with passenger satisfaction indices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, International Relations, Social Sciences, Tourism, or related fields
• 1-2 years of experience in similar roles is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proactive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and interact effectively with diverse audiences
• Flexibility and patience in handling various situations
